I havent seen hardly any correspondence between members on here. I was considering coming to the meeting on the 21st with some of my friends who have PCOS like me but I havent seen much going on here. I just want to make sure there are going to be people going before we decide to go.

None of us use the meetup board to communicate. We e-mail, talk on the phone, and keep up with each other on our blogs, as most of us are bloggers. Looks like that aside from you, two people have RSVP'd "yes" to this month's get together, myself and Becky. So yes, people do actually attend the meetings.

Kellie's right. We do communicate a lot through email, phone, and blogs. Here are some of the women's sites:
http://worldofwinks.w... http://refundontheseo... http://sharah.wordpre... http://www.geekking.c... Some of the other girls don't have blogs. What I can say is that we always have a good time. We laugh a lot, eat a lot, and all feel refreshed after spending time together. We've become more than a support group. We're all friends. We support each other in ways that none of us imagined. We are all in different places and have taken different paths to get there. We're a mixed bag. So, we hope that you or anybody else for that matter who wishes to come to do so. Every month one of us sends out a roster type email to see who's going to be there. So, to help us get an idea of how many seats to save feel free to email us... rebeccamwinks@yahoo.com or kfc1206@charter.net Becky |
